Client: Personal for Zino Loci

Field: Guilt/Shame

Brief: Design a comic around the topic of guilt or shame or both.

Solution: Zino Loci is an annual collaborative zine between the University of Portsmouth, UK and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. The publication will be shared widely and then located in permanent collections such as the Tate, British Library, USA collections and more. Our contribution was the story of Nalah, who always had a hard time saying no to anyone. She felt guilty whenever she would see that look of disappointment on somebody's face when she attempted to decline their request so she did her best to avoid such moments at all costs. What she didn't realize however, was that all of this was taking a toll on her, leading up to her eventual breaking point.
