Field: Gender-based violence on Public Transport Vehicles

Brief: Gender-based violence on public transportation vehicles is an issue that affects commuters globally and Kenya is no exception. In the country, women most commonly face GBV on PSVs ranging from verbal abuse and a refusal to be given their due change to sexual harassment and even public shaming and stripping of female commuters. Design a series of illustrations that depict some of the different forms of GBV experienced by women on PSVs.

Solution: The images below were designed for an NGO that seeks to create a safe and professional transport industry for women. Due to unavoidable circumstances, Flone Initiative did not end up using the final illustrations but you can have a look at them below:
